Wireless isn't the only technology available to relieve you of the problem of running ethernet cable. Another technology known as ethernet over powerline is now available and may give you more reliability at about the same cost. It uses the powerlines already installed in your house or business to transport information anywhere there is an electrical outlet. And let's face where ever there is a computer, there generally is a power outlet.
There are many brands available that may be used for a wireless network; however there are certain components that are required before you can get started. Below you will find two types of components that are both necessary to begging setting up your WLAN:

Depending on what type of devices you will be connecting to your network, you may choose to use one of the above adapters. The wireless router is however required, as it will provide you with a wireless signal to connect your devices to.
